Job Summary

Kforce has a client in Webster, MA that is seeking a Solutions Architect. This role involves developing comprehensive technical solutions, creating architecture designs, and selecting appropriate technology stacks. The architect will provide technical guidance to development teams, communicate solutions to stakeholders, and identify/mitigate risks. Responsibilities also include performance analysis, documentation, issue resolution, and overseeing the solution's lifecycle, ensuring adherence to standards and collaborating with various teams.

Must Have

  • Develop comprehensive technical solutions that address business challenges and align with organizational objectives
  • Create architecture designs, system diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Choose the appropriate technology stack, considering project constraints, performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to development teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Clearly communicate technical solutions and their impact to stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks within the solution design
  • Perform performance analysis on implemented solutions and identify areas for optimization
  • Document best practices and share knowledge with other team members
  • Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges related to the solution
  • Oversee the solution's lifecycle, including implementation, maintenance, and enhancement
  • Ensure solutions adhere to relevant standards, regulations, and organizational policies
  • Work closely with various teams, including Technical Project Managers, Engineers, and Scrum masters
  • Make independent decisions on complex architectural challenges, solution design, and long-term technical vision
  • Significantly influence strategic architectural decisions for the organization
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 15+ years of experience in relevant programming languages, software development principles, and a proven track record of leading large-scale architectural initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 15+ years of experience in relevant programming languages, software development principles, and a proven track record of leading large-scale architectural initiatives
  • Experience in building and leading high-performing architect teams is preferred
